    I assume your talking about John Force?
    If so, with all these guys and gals driving TAD/TAFC, he is gonna pick someone out of the pro stock ranks??? Tell me if I'm wrong, but I would take that as a slap in the face.

    Tony you are way to negative. Marketing is where its at. And Gene Wilson, being who he is, is very marketable. The corporate world has invaded drag racing. Get used to it. What are you going to do if the Zizzo's become a corporate based team, quit.

    gene probably has some cash to bring, or more cash.

    finding rides these days is about bringing cash to the table, and how much you can bring.

    it sucks for guys like me that dont have their own money to bring to the table. sure, i think i can make a good driver, but i would be embarrased to tell you the balance in the account right now...lol.

    so you got two choices, bitch about it and never get a ride, or go find money. i've got some irons in the fire, and hopefully i'll come up with something for next year..

    Negative my ass!....not one person marketable in the alky ranks?!....John, hire someone from the alky ranks, DICKHEAD!

    If someone approaches about sponsoring us, but without T.J. driving it....bye-bye I'm outta here!

    Get into the new world of the NHRA Tony. It isn't the 60's or 70's anymore. It has nothing to do with whether or not the alky ranks have any good drivers in it. Rick Santos is still without a ride, which is an absolute shame, why is that? No one said anything about TOny not driving. I am saying, your old time stance would not sit well with any corporate sponsor. Obviously, any sponsor coming on board with the Zizzo team would do so knowing who the driver is.
