spill plates on funny car wing?

    how high do most people run their spill plates on an alcohol funny car? is there a height that seems to work best? thanks mike

    Look at a picture of Frank Manzos Alky Flopper,...
    He Is the fastest out there so his must work the best.

    per rules,.. spill plates cannot be taller than 5 inches above the roof line, nor can they extend forward past the rear axle centerline nor on the rear qaurter. cannot extend back of body more than 60 inch rearward length from rear axle centerline rearward.

    that the (tech) i wanted to know. will be fabricating ours in the ext couple of days and wanted to get it right first time! thanks again. :cool:

    I found that the larger spillplates helped keep my car straight on very poor tracks. (we run on poor tracks quite a bit.) They are not faster, but keeps the car more true when traction goes to garbage.
