need advice on a hemi combination

    Looking at switching from a blown wedge to a hemi for next year. Got a chance to get a good set of Brad 6 heads and manifold for cheap. What is a good reliable short block conbination that wont break the bank. Will have a Mike Janis worked 14-71 in a 2700 lb car. Want to go 6 teens in the quarter.

    6 teens at 2700 lbs your gonna need 2600 hp plus.

    We ran 6.25@228 with only 2375 hp on the dyno at 2730 after run. Stick with stock brad pistons , block Grp or rnr rods and keep the rpms away from 10000. If you stick with stuff that's on the shelf . It makes for more reliable outcome without breaking the bank
