Finally got a fuel flowmeter. I noticed the ADRL screw cars are about 50/50 on the flowmeter installed after or before any highspeeds.I don't really know what use the data will be. I've got a roots with nitro style BV.Mounting after the high speeds will be cleaner for my setup since I can run the high speeds out of the bottom of the K and the flowmeter on the line going straight back. I know the meter needs straight plumbing on both sides. Any suggestions?

All high speeds HAVE to be before the flow meter. Stop and think here for a moment....you are interested in what total fuel is going into the motor........if you put the HS after the flow meter then you are not measuring the total fuel going into the motor. The easy way is to put the flowmeter in the top outlet of the BV using a -10 fitting then through the flow meter then to a Y fitting that has a -10 in and -8 outputs for the hat and ports. You then take the bottom output of the BV and have ONLY your high speeds on it with a cap on the main output of it. OR put your high speeds off a manifold on top of the fuel pump before the BV.

I second that agreement with Mike. That is exactly what we have done.

What happens if you don't keep it straight after the flow meter? Does it affect the accuracy of the reading or does it create other issues?

The straight run is to minimize turbulence and promote what is termed laminar flow and maximize accuracy. Upstream is more important than downstream but follow recommendations if you can.
