I can't see it being a good thing as it was designed for Iron blocks as it is suppose to expand at a similar rate to cast iron & not Aluminum

Tell us about your engine. We are running about 1700 HP and no problems with water heads.

I agree ! back when I ran a small-block Chevy (iron block /aluminum heads) when we ran the car you wouldn't notice much change in belt tension, but then I went to an all aluminum BAE set up. I was amazed at the expansion rate ! With the all aluminum engine when you first start the cold engine the belt can flop around pretty good, then it will tighten up like a banjo string as it gets hot ! I was also amazed at the amount the valve lash opens !

So now you want to pour what is basically concrete ( which tends to crack with expansion and contraction ) in your aluminum heads to stiffen them ?

I would think if you could melt down aluminum and pour it in the water jackets after you heated the heads up that would work but not many people have the equipment to do that ! But maybe a head manufacturer could do that for you ?

a little more info for you guys its a 392, i have a short motor and im in australia, i bought a load of parts from a guy running NE1 from California said he had his crank let go and distroyed the short motor, so a basically bought everything heads, intake.....blah blah blah....all under the intent that you believe what your told and he said they were perfect bolt em on. ( my fault ) never buy sight unseen. so i spent a wad of cash and everything has arrived. and they heads have more cracks than the san andreas fult line, and with not a lot of money left and trying to get this thing going i was wondering if a fix or should i say cheat be to fill them with block fill, seen that its on methanol.?
