What can you advise regarding my Connecting rods, I have a 2.37" rod Journal and it appears to be a problem ? Any idea ? GRP advise a 3001 Pro series, I'm afraid to use a weak rod.

    Engine is a 521 Keith Black blown B1 w/ 6.425" Rods

    Thanks

    rods

2.375 is a hemi rod journal. Get what GRP says for blown alky and you'll be happy.

What is the problem exactly, piston-counterweight clearance or something else? The only combo I can come up with to get a 521 is 4.350" bore x 4.375" stroke. Thats a pretty short rod for that much stroke although a B-1 piston will be much lighter than a similar sized Hemi. BTW for what its worth, GRP doesn't make weak rods. I agree with Overkill, take whatever they recommend..... :)
