As a commercial vendor, if you want to advertise your products here please feel free to contact Will Hanna. He has advertising rates to fit you needs.

Don't ask one of your buddies to join ITA and have his or her first post be a commercial about your wonderful product followed by your first post after joining giving praise and thanks along with contact information. It was too easy to spot. And just as easy to delete.

Once you become an ITA supporting vendor then you can relax knowing the moderators of this site will watch out for you, too.

Correct and may I ad that the advertizing people here are also fellow racers and take there products seriously and value the customers,in most cases put the customer first. You are right. The companies here are not in it for a quick buck at your expense and probably with helping people out have probably lost money at one point.

...and yet, we are still getting people posting hidden ads under the guise of " Congrats" with the brand they are promoting.

Buy an ad, or don't post.

    Simple.

I have talked to Will in the past about securing some advetising for the place I work at on this site, but unfortunately it didn't come to pass. I just work there, and I am not in charge of anything special, other than providing the best customer and tech service to anyone who calls or contacts me. I have been told by a few people (outside of where I work) not to get agitated by the comments of posters, that certain individuals have reputations for "stirring things up" to put it nicely. If you think I am talking about you, please dont post and attempt to argue with or offend me, that will just prove that you are what others say you are. Hope all who read this have a great weekend, and thanks to ITA for a place to communicate with others involved in this sport. Ed Urcis

I'm with Ed on this one. My feeling is if you cannot mention the place you work at on this sight without being an advertiser, then you shouldn't mention any non-advertising company. It's all advertising no matter what.

Sorry, I take offence on this one.

I'm a one man shop, and I spend the money to advertise here.

If your company doesn't see the value of this site, then don't mention the company name.

Otherwise, why am I spending the money?

I might as well ride free, like your company is, or buy a less expensive ad.

    Robert......

CP-Carrillo did not post that congratulary post, I did , Ed Urcis. But I don't think my bosses are angry with me for doing so. I wanted to congratulate the alcohol winners from last weekend, particurally the customers that have trusted me and the products from where I work. As far as it being an ad, if it was it was a very poor one.It had no contact info at all,and no verbal content to try and pursuade someone to use CP Pistons. There were no claims, promses, pricing or delivery quotes. If someone wanted to inquire about CP Pistons based on that post, they would need to exert some of their own time and energy to get in touch with me.
You have made over 800 post on this site. I would guess almost every post you have here is related to an attempt to sell something. I commend you for your work ethic. Also, I don't think my post was anything out of the ordinary.I think CP has gotten more attention from your complaining than it would have if you had just let it be.For that I owe you a big THANKS.
I have seen you race for many years, and actually admire your determination and dedication to your racing endeavors and your busisness.I wish I had the drive and desire that you exhibit. If you really feel my products could take some sales from your line of products, I am more than willing to discuss the possibility of you selling CP-Carrillo in addition to your other offerings. I think you have or can get the number to reach me at work if you are interestd.I have no negative feelings toward you or your take on this situation, I guess we just disagree on the purpose and use of forums like this.
