Looking to upgrade/ replace Rock Racing Battery

    Blown BBC 509 hovering around 1700 hp. I still use an MSD box, no mag here....
    Anyhow My rock racing battery is junk, any ideas on what to replace it with?

    Car needs to self start.

    Lets hear them ideas.... what works, what doesn't

    I went to a 16V turbo start battery. Love the extra cranking power, and I don't have to charge it as much.

    was wondering about maybe the 24 volt deal with the two small 12 volt batteries....
    I had a Turbo Start, actually I still have it. It is about 12 years old and works great on the winch in my trailer. Just isnt good for a real draw.... The rock I bought and let it sit for a few months and now it wont charge at all.
