I'm finally assembling my engine and this is the first motor I have had that uses aluminum piston buttons instead of spiro-locks. I have Arias blower pistons and the oil ring goes into the piston pin area, and the oil ring is what holds the aluminum buttons in place. I also have aluminum rods. With the pistons out of the motor, I can move the buttons around and even push them out of the pin bore some. It appears that when I slide a piston into the bore that it will secure the buttons. Just want to make sure I'm looking at this right. Thanks! Chris

Thanks guys! I looked at them a few different ways and it seemed pretty obvious that the bore is what held them but wanted to make sure. Appreciate the help and Semper Fi! Chris
