mounting fuel tank in altered

just got my fuel tank..really don't want to cut out nose to put tank in front of center of front wheels so thinking mounting like in pics..what's pros&cons on this location?if i can mount there hopping to mount fire bottles/small lawn mower batt. cos botlle and a weight bar all under nose piece..also if mount in front of wheels[cutting out nose piece]i'll also need to buy more stainless hose for returns[more money]

i moved our tank back and put my fire bottles/battery up front and love it. seems to work really well for us. here are a couple pics. the lid is off the battery box and the strap is off the tank to dzus it in the car, but you get the idea.
