any body know if this case is usable. The reverse lever shaft hole seems off and the flange is quite thin and has fewer holes.Im trying to convert a 3 speed to two speed, should i just take the second case and spacer away and bolt the reverser to the front case.the reverser bottoms out about 1/8 before the flanges get together. Its the first time ever i messed with a lenco so some help would be great.

As I understand the lenco TWO SPEED CASE is .187 Longer than the case used on the three speed and all others .

You have two options here and here they are. You can do a gearset eliminator kit or you can buy a new front case that's .25" longer. The advantage to the eliminator kit is that your driveshaft doesn't change and the advantage to the longer case/true 2 speed is that you lose the weight...but you have to buy a new driveshaft. Give me a call if you need the parts, presumably this is a CS1?
