I was curious if anyone had tried using shock damping to combat torque steer in a four link car, as in tighter rebound on the left shock.
I have always used pre-load on the four link until recently. With the car on the scales I would add weight to the right rear tire, usually around 10% more than the left or 50(ish)#.
I recently tried a stiffer anti roll bar and put the pre-load in with the link on that, which worked but it didn't stay put, I had to keep adding every few runs or if it shook the tires (like it was bending something).
So I was curious about trying shock adjustments.
    Any thoughts?

Used to do that all the time before running Anti-roll bars. Like you said, something is "bending, flexing, wearing out, loose, etc." for loads to be changing. Sounds like you may have the whole set-up wrong and might be missing something obvious. If it took 50# of pre-load to make the car go straight, something is not stiff enough.
Just a few things to look at.
