Does anyone use an aeroquip SS style line on a plueger P&P pump to the pan
or can it suck the inside rubber tube together
versus the marine hose with the wire in it that we clamp with hose clamps

I've had some experience with the AN lines; a -16 on the scavenge side is not enough; it seems to entrain air into the oil in the tank and messes up the oil pressure. A -20 fixes this or the stainless line/ hose that pleuger says to use. When I spoke to him he asked why I didn't use what he said to use.....I wondered that myself after I proved that I was not as smart in this area as the guy building the system....it turns out that oil is as much or more of a sucking problem as a blowing one.
