fuel line size

    what size fuel line do i need from tank to fuel pump;;this is a 125" fuel altered on alcohol only .need to buy bigger fuel tank and need to know what size outlet to get on tank
    SPECS;
    540bbc blown alcohol engine
    4.50 bore
    4.25 stroke
    6.535 rods
    11.8 static comp.
    731/726 lift roller //114 lobe center //running dur 322--326//dur at .050 284--288
    brodix 2-plus heads W/FULL flow job
    12-71 blower 25%OD
    big&ugly injector hat
    port nozzles
    990 pump
    fuel system flowed by spud miller

    trans;;pg with brake
    1;80 straight cut gears
    10 disc high gear

    car is a CM 23T altered
    34.5x17x16 slicks

    standard is 1 1/4" what is the pump inlet? Don

    now it is a 12AN because had it and just used to do start=up on stand to warm up and do re-torq..now ready to go into a altered;;pump is a #990 enderle

    I am sure it is 1-1/4 od. but put your dial calp. on it and check. then go from there. If you need 90 deg. pipe and silicone . hose, call race car solutions and they will have everything you need, clamps etc. They are in FL.. and really great to deal with. Don

    OOPS sorry, it has been many years since I ran a Enderly pump, If you need a adapter. to make it into a hose end from a -12 Call JR @ RBS. He has some new ones that go from a -12 to 1-1/4 hose with 2 -6 return ports for something like $36 Don

    A -16 (1") should be fine for your combo, heck you could probably get away with the -12 (3/4"), why didn't you ask Spud?

    When it comes to the inlet side bigger is better. And when your combo becomes slow to you, you don't have to buy something again. Don

    The line from the pump to the barrel valve will be the restricting point, then hat & port lines then nozzles. As long as the pump is back filled, I don't think going from a -16 to a -20 is going to do much with his setup.
