What effect will dropping the lift at cam from .465 down to .440?
    E.G.
Will it allow engine to rev easier.
    Will it hurt performance.

    Blown, w/ 1.85 rocker.
There are no issues with valve to piston clearance.

You are talking .045" less lift. Depending on how aggressive or .200" duration figures of the cam will tell whether performance will drop. Cam doesn't seem to have lots of lift so why have less? Are you having valve train issues? Unless your heads don't work up there I would stay with the bigger lobe.
