help with injector hat

i got a B&U hat off a guy in whittier ca...he made it[copy of enderle B&U]orianta guy[couldn't spect english very good but wife Rose could]you may know him..BAD DEAL.was to be all new but started engine for first time this week end and had 3 fuel lines leaking on hat;;was cracked and one had part of flare missing[easy fix]had to back thottle stop all way out and engine still idled 3000rpm+ if pushed in on butterflys it would try to idle down..they also stick if you push them in trying to idle eng down..got looking at hat close and noticed hat had no bearings for shaft to go into[hat was just drilled out for shaft..called good vibrations and asked them about it..they knowed him and said they ended up selling 3 differant customers new hats because they had him build theres as me and had same thing..
is there anyone on here that feels they can machine out my hat for shaft bearings and get the butterflies to fit my hat way they should and thinks this would fix my hat? i'm sure fuel system[nozles/barrel valve/dist block]is all good because spud miller flowed my fuel system

I do alot of machine work..what kind of time frame are you in? As I always say not a guarantee but Im sure I could do it in my horizontal mill..Dave

 

do you think this could fix me?putting bearings in hat for saft and getting butterflies fitting better?should i get new anodized butterflies also so just incase the guy that built hat didn't get tapper right on these?
