    Hello all,

We have put new lines from the valve covers to the blowby tanks and have run into problems with the tubing not wanting to move around well. I have seen a more 'collapsed' type of tube (mostly a light blue color) on many of the dragsters, can anyone direct me to where I can get this?

    Thanks

That Blue stuff is "Layflat" hose . Any home improvement place carries it. But its not what I would use. Did you use the clear hose with reinforcement? If yes then try the clear without the reinforceing. Also sold at home improvement places.(Lowes Home Depot Menards)

    Breather Hose

I had tried the lay flat hose, too but it does not stay open and did not let the engine breathe enough. It would open if the engine had a failure bad enough to pressurize the hose, but I try not to have too many of that kind of engine failure. (once was enough)
I now use the blue vacuum cleaner hose I bought at Lowes. It is very flexible, stays open and can be connected over the breather tube ends with hose clamps. Works well for me.

    hose

The grey flat hose from goodyear. it doesn't stay real flat and is NHRA approved. IT is What you are suppose to run and is 90 PSI rated. But it is 1 1/2 in. we just fold it over and double clamp it as per rules. I may still have some . How much do you need? Don

Thank you Chi, TAD and Don for the help.

We tried the enforced clear line but it was very unhappy when we tried to manipulate it through and around the front of the fuel cell (we have a very small area up front).

I am running a four stage dry sump so there currently is no blow by (now). I expect if we have one of those nasty issues I am hoping the tubing would be adequate enough to direct the mess to the tanks and including a couple of the missing parts from the insides!!!

Thank you Don for the offer, I mentioned this locally and a local dragster friend has helped with a length of the Goodyear lay flat you mentioned.

I thank you all for the help and direction. Luck to you all this year.

It pleases me to know there are very cool folks here.
