Looking for a data logger. It seems like you never see much for used Race Pac data loggers. Are they worth the extra money? Is everyone selling there other brands for a reason? The dash would be very helpful for our application. Looking for your view points, past experience, ect

Rpm has been working on a dash. Don't know if it's done though

RPM Performance is a great data logger and very well priced compared to a Racepak BUT let me say that I use both all the time and I very much prefer a Racepak for doing indepth analysis of a run. I find the display and format of the Racepak on the screen a lot better to use and more tools available.

I have used the RPM Performance unit since 2000. Great service, very tuff, upgradeable, very reasonable priced.

I use a racepak V300SD with all the typical sensors for fuel, pressures, flow, ect.. no EGTs yet, but one day when I can afford them. I can tell you this, I have went faster because I could analyze my data and make changes.

i have a pro 1 i will be selling in a couple of weeks. its on my car right now but i just bought a pro II that i am switching over to. it will have everything including a flow meter. 4,000 plus the ride.

i have had both the rpm and racepak. i will say rpm and racepak both have great customer support and are very helpful. i also feel the software on the computer is easier to navigate with the racepak and has a few extra tools that are nice. i have lost less runs with the racepak compared to the rpm.

Never used the RPM but I can tell ya the RacePak has NEVER lost a run! The Autometer lost MANY runs, didn't like the tire shake at all!

I have had great luck with RPM and the customer service has been great. I have never used a RacePak so I can't compare the two. The only other data logger I have had much experience with was the Edelbrock unit and I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.
