George Etterman In Hospital

George had a heart attack yesterday and is in a hospital in Grand Rapids MI. The information I got told me he is going to have a bypass done.

 

That's horrible news. Glad he is in the hospital being taken care of. Our thoughts and prayers go to George and Jane, two of the nicest people on the circuit. I'm sure everything will turn out great for them. Keep us posted!

 

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

 

May God be with and heal George. He has been a great friend to me. George and Jane are model racers that we should all try to be more like. They will both be in our prayers.

Just got off the phone with George and he's doing well. He's waiting on the surgeon to visit yet today, but it sounds like he will be having bypass surgery within the next day or two. Jane is doing well also. I told George that we would all be praying for him and Jane.

Just heard that the operation will be changed to friday. George and Jane are in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

I think of my late good friend Jack Burr and how he was alone when he had his heart attack. Let's thank God George is in good hands.

George and Jane are some special people and we are praying for his complete recovery and quick return to the races. We pitted next to the Etterman/Branch team at Topeka and had a lot of fun with them.

A one o'clock time today (friday)is scheduled for George's operation..

We hope to hear something by days end.

 

Talked to Jane a little while a go, George is out of sergury and resting fine. A little bit of time and a little bit of resting and he should be good to go.

Just talked to George on the phone around 7:30 KC time. He is already up walking the halls and talking to people on the phone. He is already looking forward to going home. All is going GREAT.
