    been there

the air compressor sold by MTI is a nice part, however it struggles to break loose todays "killler' valve springs. I have found that the one offered by "ORA'S TOOLS" (ora vasquez) is the very best and I own one of the air operated types which I would gladly sell for $700 if you are interested. Works great until you are dealing with seat pressures in excess of 450# then it is a real pain. Ora's manual model just takes a light tap with a hammer and the keepers pop loose.

With Troxel's deal try tapping on the cup that goes over the spring retainer with a cheap small brass hammer while under pressure. Works every time.

Is Ora still making tools? I have used one of his compressors...best one I have ever used.
I would like to see what else he offers.

Ditto, never had a problem with the MTI. I use the bench model, for on motor removal I use the bolt on Ora setup. I believe he sold his manufacturing rights to Larry Snyder/Snyder Motorsports.
