When adjusting a glide clutch between rounds, is it better to set the air gap by adjusting all the stands to exactly the same height, or is it better to set the air gap using only a feeler gauge to get the same gap/feel all the way around the clutch?
Because the clutch is used (but in good shape) If I set my stands all the same height, then my air gap varies from stand to stand.
If I set the air gap to be excatly the same at each stand, then the stands are all slightly different heights...

    which way is best?

Floaters and facings are new. discs are .320 and freshly ground flat.

    Cheers
