What do you guys run for tire pressure in your goodyear 34.5/17/16 on beadlocks on a blown altered or funnycar? on a cold track? on a hot track? on crappy prep? on good prep? just trying to get some highs, lows and strategies.

I'm not sure it will apply for your combo as I'm running the GY 36-17's but I've pretty much settled on 5 1/2 lbs on most tracks. I'm only running a 7.00 index class with a really mild tune-up, not sure I would'nt up it a half pound or so if I stepped up in power.

    Realy? Only one reply

everyone is a paid crew chief here? don't want to devulge secrets? combination variations arent going to make that much difference. blown, alcohol, rigid chassis, 125" wb, 34.5 17 16's on beadlocks, c'mon you're info might not be the right info but it gives anyone looking for this information some guide. No one i know runs beadlocks and i realy just want to know if the tire pressure strategy of a beadlock is realy that much different than a liner.

    Beadlocks

I don't know a lot of the regular contributors here who run beadlocks. Guys like me with no experience with beadlocks could give you a number but it would be a complete guess.
    Good luck- Dave Germain

The pneumatic spring rate is less with beadlocks because you dont have a liner tire with 40 pounds in it. To low air pressure will wald up the tire and shake hard. 6.5 - 7 pound TAD goodyears and beadlocks.
