differential lube?

    I am installing new gears and I wonder ......is anybody using BRAD PENN in the rear ?

    What is everbody using ?

    I have used the purple oil from California gear for 10 years
    wish i knew who made it! As i only have 1 gallon left!
    Or Redline heavy shockproof i was told is also very good for an alcohol car

    Ditto the Red Line, but make sure you use the Red and NOT the Blue! I tried that once as it is a "lighter" fluid but saw evidence of metal transfer on the gears! NEVER get that with the Red. John, will get ya a price Bro;)

    I agree....Redline ShockProof "Heavy Duty"....we use it in our Alcohol Procharger Drag Radial car....its good stuff...

    Yep!

    Yes on the RedLine Heavy Duty Shockproof "pink" stuff. That stuff clings to parts like no other lube I have ever seen. Gearsand bearings look like new after a couple of years use. I use it in Dana 80 (minirod tractor puller: 2050 pounds, 1800 hp blown alky, 10-15 second passes all underload). JW
