What are the pros and cons for running a filter in a blown Alcohol car. I see some blower motors with and some without.

    SAE type

Can you elaborate on that type and does it restrict flow.

    filter

Go to RBS site. they have picks of the cone shaped filters. Some people like them some not. I have a -10 systems One Pro filter. It is in the tool box in the trailer. and that is where It will stay. I screen the fuel and the system is clean. But it really is up to you. Good luck Don

If you make sure your fuel is clean I see no need for a filter.I filter it out of the drum and filter it when it goes in the tank.

We used to run inline filter now use system one.

make sure with inline you leak barrel valve down with this is as we found it made difference of 2% when used

    system one gets everything

we filter fuel into tank also but why risk a blocked jet?

We run a Kinsler fuel filter right after the pump, we clean it once a year and do find little bits of stuff sometimes.

We run small port nozzles (around .025) and dont want to risk plugging one off.

As long as the filter is big enough to not cause flow problems I think its a great idea.
