Oil Restrictors to the Rocker Arms?

    When restricting oil up to the rocker arms through the block, what size diameter hole is recommended to the top if you put allen plugs in the oil galleries at the head surface in the block? KB Stage 10 block Blown alcohol hemi application, AJPE heads-THANKS ITA!!

    It depends on the rocker system, .058 for TD, .100 for new BAE setup, check with your rocker manufacturer to be sure.

    Oil Restrictors

    With a MANTON Rocker assembly there is no oil restriction required. Our oiling ideas are completely different than all of the others. It is common to see an increase in engine oil pressure of 10 to 15 pounds, when changing from the original rocker system. Our machining tolerances are held very tight which eliminates excess oil spillage.
    By doing this the oil pressure in both the intake and exhaust shafts is maintained high enough to allow the correct use of an oil fed adjusting screw.
    Ball / Cup failures are greatly minimized, reliability is greatly increased, and life gets better.
    MANTON Rocker assembly's do not require oil restriction...
