Oil pump Plumbing ?

    Hi guys , It maybe a dumbe question , but I need to make sure.

    I have a P&P pump on a 521 BAE. I just need to make sure which lines are for the filter and which is for the return ?
    Iam pretty sure but just checking before I start maing the hoses.

    PS is there any do,s and donts and tips ?

    Wayne,
    If this is a P & P dry sump, the two -12 fittings facing the front of the engine on the pump section closest to the block are the "to and from" filter fittings. The other -12 from the second section facing the front of the engine is the return to the dry sump tank. The -16 fitting on the backside of the pump closest to the block is your suction line from the dry sump supply line. The -16 fitting on the second section on the backside is your suction line from the oil pan. Hope that helps.
