Anybody have experience drilling and milling BAE heads for the Veney type end bolts. How big to mill for socket clearance, etc. Thanks

If you are talking about the 3/8" corner studs in the block?
I think i would call Brad and make sure you can hack out the material in his head there
might open something up you dont want to

Steve at Total Flow put corner studs in my old brad fuel heads. but they didn't have a window in the side. they went all the way up into the rocker area. you might try calling Steve and see if he can do it to the fat head. He makes his own version of the "fat head" so if anyone knows if it is safe to do, he should.

    end bolts

i have them on my brad 5 heads
just drill 3/8 up through bottom
take a 3/8 black grade 9 allen bolt and turn the od
of the head to .360 and use hardened washers, grind one
side of the washer flat almost to id of washer its very
tight against the inside of the head but works for me you could
releave the side for clearance but i didnt
i just did this on my spare engine
my brad 5 fuel heads will be more difficult because the
head has a boss that comes up to the stands in that area i
may mill that area down to install the xtra bolts
    i torqued mine to 50lbs
