weight of alcohol

    does anybody know the weight of 1 gal of alcohol.

    weight of alcohol

    I believe it is 6.6 lbs. per gallon.

    Methanol weighs right at 6.6 lbs/gallon. Water is 8.3 lbs/gallons, Nitromethane weighs 9.5 lbs/gallon. Gasoline varies alot depending on the specific brand and type but is about 6 lbs/gallon.

    There is also a small variation with temperature with all these values, hotter is slightly lighter.
