Do all these data companies use the same sensor/probe?
Does a guy w/ RacePak have to get replacements from RacePak? Or will another brand work? I got both Race Pak on one car & RPM on another, and wondering if the same probe will work w/ both systems...or is there a jobber one out there that's more economical.

They are all generic type K. I sell RP stuff and stand alone EGT's etc with generic sensors. I think the RP prices are competitive and I'd recommend just going with them.

The problems we have had with the ones from Omega is that the porcelein insulation around the tip breaks apart and it is ruined. We stopped using them.

I believe they all have porcelein or some high temp insulator to keep the actual thermocouple away from the outer case of the probe.
