Hello all. We are running the 2532 Goodyears, should we do the tubes?

This is probably an age old question and after many conversations I have come up 50/50 on the subject. I would enjoy some comments on the issue.

We weigh approx 2300 lbs. and are going to run 7.50 at 190mph. A bit slower than many of your TAD and TAFC but the tires are similar. This is a clutch car and we are using beadlocks.

Also we are using the B&J Big Boy, is anyone using check valves to prohibit a catastrophic downshift in case of loss of pressure?

I appreciate the time and conversations.

    regards, Scott

goodyear told me no need for tubes below 210mph and that was on regular rims so especially with your beadlocks i'd say no.

    no tubes

As far as I know you shouldn't use tubes with beadlocks. They are meant to use tubeless

    Tubes

Thank you all for the input. I have also been 'counciled' by the local nostalgia fuel and funny car guys (and a couple of fuel altereds). The largest statement circled around reciprocating weight if anyone else was also wondering.

As easy as these were to put in I guess I won't whine too much when I take them out. The kids will love them this winter!

    Thank you all. Scott
