Blew #7 spark plug out this weekend, threads and all, repaired it with an steel insert.
Next night #6 went that already had a steel insert but threads were still good. Added more loctite and screwed another insert in.
Is there something better to use than loctite? Seems the red can't take the heat.
Are the steel inserts okay for repairs or is it better to have them welded back up?
I run an old set of BAE fuel dual plug fuel heads. I run the steel plugs in the extra set. Thought about getting dual plug valve covers and adding the option to use a virgin hole. Still have to rely on the loctite to keep the steel plug in the hole not being used.
    Both passes 39# of boost.

    Any thoughts? Joey
