Need to do some extensive welding repairs to a billet aluminum 6061 head. Who's good at this, and does the whole head need to be heat treated & machined afterwards? Thanks.

    Total Flow

Steve Sanchez does the repair work for probably 60% or more of the pro teams along with many top alky teams. The website is www.totalflowproducts.com. He just delivered two sets to me at Indy that both had the rear (#8) chamber blown out on both sets; he got them monday around lunch and I now have them on the car/in trailer complete with a valve job....now that's service!

Thanks guys. I will call Steve this coming week. He's only a short drive from here. Back to my other question, if major welding repairs are done to a head does the whole head then have to be heat treated and if so then remachined?
