Anybody use a CSR aluminum flexplate for blown alchy applications? I have a Reactor flexplate now and had like 8 starts on the engine and it broke a tooth off of the ring gear. I called Reactor and they didn't seem to want to deal with me. I didn't accuse them of anything just wanted to know what to do to get a new ring gear on it. The guy on the phone asked me if I knew where to ship it and I said no and he said he would call me back and hung up. Of course he never called back, so I did, and he was still very short with me. I'd rather buy a flexplate from someone who will help a paying customer out.

get a mezerie - i've had both reactor (poor customer service + poorer product) - csr will not resfi their flywheels. mezerie as excellent customer service and a great product - never a problem on my 481x with their 24 volt starter. andy burnet

    Reactor Flexplate

My reactor flexplate lasted six starts and striped 3 teeth. You must have had the same rep as I did he was a a** h*** he had no intent on helping. Now it just hangs on my shop wall as a reminder of where NOT to spend my money. I have a CSR flexplate now.
    Good luck.

I second the Meziere product - they are not aluminum but solid chromoly and will last forever....we switched to Meziere this year....I would not use an aluminum flexplate in a blown application....I broke 2 before switching to steel....

I have been using the CSR aluminum flexplates for a few years now on my blown Hemi , with no problems. I know that Snyder has been using them as well.
