Lenco oil and level

    Just a quick one how much oil to go in a 2 speed and reverser cs1?
    And type?

    One guart in each section and a half quart in the reverser.

    You can use ATF or 10w-20 or 10w-30. They all lubricate well and racers have had great success with all. The thinner the weight the harder the clutches come on in the shifted section. The thicker oil softens the hit a little. That is something you can play with.

    Its a two speed, so is that 2 quarts for the 2nd and 3rd in total,
    and i have put 1 quart in reverser and two quarts in the two speed, have i made a cock up?
    AND DOES OIL FROM THE LENCO GO THROUGH THE SPRAG AND INTO THE REVERSER?

    IS THIS A LENCO DRIVE ? 2 spd and no the oil will not transfer to the reverser it takes 1/2 qt itself . Doc

    1 quart per underdrive unit 1/2 in the reverser
    if you have a 2 speed you dont have a 2/3 unit
    2 gears.... low and high or 1st and second whatever you want to call it its one unit
    if you have two units and a reverser you have a 3 speed
    by unit im talking each seperate case
