KB Stage 3 head stud torque

Hi all,

I have a old stage 3 Keith Black wet block with a set of BAE fuel Heads. i was tourqueing them up last night at 100 lbs on the lowers and 120 on the stands and had one pull on me. I think that thread was a bit sus anyway but, Do those torques sound good ?

what stud size are they?

 

Sounds like too much torque. I had the same block and only torqued to 95 on stands and lowers, 45 on the insides, as per instructions from previous owner.

sorry forgot to mention that , there only 1/2 inch studs

 

if they were 1/2 all the way in to the block, you would have been fine at 90

 

thread all fixed

got the thread all fixed now , head back on torqued up fine at 90 lbs .
