Yes they make one that looks like a Brooks. I have never order from Venolia but looking at their web site they only list spec length rods IE. .125 long .187 long etc. If that is the case your probably going to need a longer rod than they make.

R+R call them. is there a problem with Brooks?I have been using the B-2 for a long time. Haven't talked to Jerry in a little while. But if I can't get them R+R is who I would call. But that is just me. You will get 20 different opinions on rod Manf. don

We used venolias and had good results but switched to brooks eventually because they were super quick on turnaround through Oddy's. We have had several dimensional problems with Brooks and were going to switch to something even before the service went to $hit.
I was considering BME or Venolia.

Did Brooks really go out? I had trouble getting rods this spring, but then I heard they were caught up. Try Fowler Engines. They have a pretty good rod. JW

    steel rods ?

We had an order at Brooks that hasn´t been delivered. Can we use a steel rod instead, KB Olds 526, K11, AJPE Heads. Is this to aggressive to the bearings or? Have approx. 100km to Autoverdi rod manufaturer often used by pro stockers and road racers.

Steel rods in a motor like that is just looking for problems in my opinion. I know there are quite a few blown motors using steel rods but I would stay away from them if I could.
