Mag timing

Hi, i'm just about to fire my hemi for the first time and wondered what timing is a good starting point , i've put it at 28 degrees and it's a 14-71 blown 526 KB with mid 90's Dart heads on alky, oh yeah it's with a supermag 3

Yes 28 is perfect. The good vibrations website has excellent instructions on setting up the timing with a buzzbox. Make very sure it is firing on number 1 so you don't blow the hat off! Keep us all posted on the dragbus

Thanks for the replies ! i bought a new buzz box thingy from Spud Miller at FIE , it's really good, I'm running the dragbus for the first time next sunday at Santa Pod , I'll let you know how it goes ,

just remember the fuel heads like more timing we run 35deg if it was a fat head motor like like alot less timing..good to hear it is about ready..good luck Dave
