It seems from another post that Dallas is not charging anyone in Alcohol at their divisional...is this the div 4 policy???...

    As it appears right now...

Div 2-3-5 are charging non card holders

    Div 4 is not?

    Div 1- 6- 7 ??? anyone heard???

We are racing full time this year to promote our hand cleaner and other cleaning products to come soon...and since we took last year off this "is" a major expense to us as we travel and race this year....

So we will be skipping Gainsville and going to Houston and Memphis instead, to start the year....if the div 4 policy is not to charge this fee

and will be planning our other racing based (a large part) on this new fee....

So When anyone knows for certain who is or isn't charging...please post....
    -----------------------------------------------
Thank you...and to those that have tried to make a purchase in the past week...we will have the new shopping cart up and running by monday with a new credit card processing agent...and you are always welcome to see us at the track, or call direct to the shop ...

Thanks again to everyone...the support has been great...

Nick...one reason not to call the division directors is, it's not up to the division directors...it's up to the race tracks...and even though the directors wanted all the tracks to be uniform on the decision...I belive when this plays out, you will see some tracks reverse their decision...so for a while I believe it will be a he-said...she-said thing....

This will be an ongoing, ever-changing process...and a big cry for: "lets sit down (racers and track owners) and get this figured out for all involved"....

Kevin is exactly right in this deal. The div directors were told this will be a blanket policy this year. But it is still the tracks decision.
In Division 6 Mission Raceway is very friendly to alky cars, They allow free testing all year long and put on at least one booked in type show . I cannot see them charging anywhere in the near future. (But I am not management).Woodbrn is very similar in their support of Alky coars,. They have two div races and two booked in deals this year. But call and Ask for Jon Adams or Jay Livingston. But they are a very business like track, As long as team pre enter early and and not just show up they treat you very well.
Billings is a new facility in the division, and I would think they would bend over bacwards to to alky competitors. Seattle. Is an interesting one. In it was still Rock stad would would probably pay. But the Fioritos. I don't know for sure I know track Manager Russell Stevenson is a great guy so I would think there policy would be the same as the other tracks. Medford is the enigma in the deal. Track operator is a car salesman I believe. And not a real good promoter from indications I have heard from a few prominant alky people. But I would be surprised if one track goes against the others in the division.

It would not surprise me that cetain tracks do treat certain racers different either. In a couple divisions it is a mute point due to their low car counts, but Div 6,7, 3, and 1 (dragsters) usually will have big fields so those out of the top ten may have to pay.

One reason why some tracks are going to charge is because there were some racers that showed up at a divisional with half a race car. I went to 4 divisionals and there were teams that showed up with a car without a motor or a blower, or a motor and a blower just sitting on it didn't make any runs or attempt to run there cars just got in for free and watched the show.

i have seen that happen before- the track personnel are ussually well aware of those situations, and it is a poor excuse to charge everyone over that. easy to remove the offenders!

If a Team showed up and pulled that, I'd tell them not to come back!

Who would bother to haul all that shit to the track just to watch, and look stupid in the process? It doesn't cost that much for a ticket.
