r3?

looking to purchase a neck restraint. i'm kinda tall (6'3") 230lbs and need as much room as possible. this is for a pro mod car. thanks and anyone know the weight difference in the std r3 and the r3 rage? thanks again!

 

I know it's not R3 info, but I considered the R3, Hutchens and Hans. My concern was being able to get it on and off by myself. I borrowed a Hans ans was happy to find out I can do it easily by my self. Takes a minute and half compared to 10 seconds with the neck collar.

has anybody had any experience with the isaac system

 

I just bought the Hybrid rage from www.safetysolutionsracing.com. I have a very tight fitting cage and I have tried other systems but had to return them b/c I couldn't get out of the car with them. I have seen several fuel car drivers using them and decided to try it. I bought the non carbon one and it was less than $600. No seat padding needed and you barely even know it's on. Excellent customer service too.

 

I bought the same thing for my altered. Talk to Sue, she was great to deal with.

 

ive got a hybrid for sale. i went with the hybrid because i have read that it gives more side to side protection than that of a hans. i also chose the hybrid over the longer version r3 as i drive several different cars so, it the hybrid makes it easier to go from car to car without doing a bead seat. if youre interested, shoot me an email. its an XL and it was new in november and hasnt been used. i paid $995. i would like to get $750 for it.

I am the same height and weight. I use the R3 in my doorslammer. Iam very happy with it , and would recomend it.
