fuel pump size

    what size electric fuel pump would you surgest me to use?
    building doorslammer with blown 540 alcohol injected bbc..going to mount a fuel tank in rear of car and it is going to feed a small surge tank up front;;spud is going to flow my fuel system but he needs that pump also..

    I used a Mallory 250. More than adequate. I am sure you could use a smaller one as long as you are returning to the surge tank.

    A buddy of mine has a similar setup on his car. He uses a Holley Black pump feeding a 3 gallon tank up front with a Holley float bowl on it fir the inlet/level control. Once that 3 gallon tank is full you don't need that much of a pump to keep up with the mechanical pump for your fuel system.
