I tried to test our lenco 2 spd last night, marked the bottom pulley and marked the rear of the lenco output shaft, turned the engine once and the box turned once 1 to 1 tried second still the same 1 to 1, removed the tower fork was free and impossible to push down, i removed the box to check, and all sems to be fine, refitted, start again, scrow the tower down to just touching the fork, back of a turn and lock, air prssure is over 500psi tried and it was same again, or is it a case i neet to try under load?
    Thanks

Don't be concerned, I had the same fears the first time I did a Lenco. Called them and they said it is almost (read impossible) to get the ratio's to show up by turning the input and counting the output. It will always show 1:1. I was told it is because of the planetaries and drum turning, and the inability to reproduce real world conditions on a bench.

Didn't explain it near a well as they did, but don't be concerned, if you assembled it correctly (sound like you did) your Lenco will shift the way it should once you put the power to it. Mine always did.
