Oil Pressure switch

    Hi, I'm nearly ready to fire the drag split for the first time and i'm looking for a good oil pressure switch (for an oil pressure light) pref adjustable ,
    What are you guys using ?
    Blown KB hemi , KB billet oil pump

    I did the same thing thinking from my old vw bug drag racing days i needed one. From experience i'd now say don't bother. i installed mine(actually from a vw bug) with a prolight but took it off after one race as its really useless in this kind of application. Get a good liquid filled gauge, check it at start-up and just before you stage. When the chutes hit it will probably hit zeroish. The less gauges and lights the better.

    x2 on a cool video. I have never seen a 5" grinder humping a 7" grinder before.:D

    Thanks for the replies ! I'm with you on the less lights/guages etc thing, i'm trying to keep it really simple (ish) i was going to put a light in as an early warning, a lot of my mates say their oil pressure disapears when the chutes hit so i'm kind of ready for that,
    oh yeah those grinders are always shagging when my back is turned ha ha, at least i've got a baby grinder now!
