    I was deeply saddened to hear the loss of TAFC racer Neal Parker. All of us at ITA send our heart felt condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Neal. RIP and Godspeed.:(

    We really didn't know him personally but we are all still family.

    This kind of news is always hard to take. But this time its someone that we raced with, pitted beside ,and became freinds with.Our thoughts and prayers go to Neal's family and team.

    We were parked side by side in Reading Pa, a few weekes back. He was a pretty funny guy to listen to. He was what great racer and competitor and will truly be missed.

    God Bless his soul.

    The Excavator

    After many trips down the track, behind him, I always joked with him about the chutes on his altered need to be cleaned. He always asked why, and my response was "cause thats the only part I ever get to see!" He was a really great guy, fearless driver, and all around friend. Both him and his whole crew are a great group of guys. We will miss you Neal...

    Neal's funeral info

    Neal V. Parker, 58, of Millville died Friday afternoon, June 11, 2010, in Englishtown.

    Neal was a lifelong Millville resident. He owned and operated an excavation business in Millville for many years. Neal was a member of the Good Sports Gun Club and the Cumberland Riflemen. He also was a member of the National Hot Rod Association and the International Hot Rod Association.

    Neal is survived by his wife, Betsy Smith Parker; two sisters, Virginia Wilson and her husband Bill, and Peggy Thomas and her husband Dr. Ardel Thomas; one brother, Bud Parker; a sister-in-law, Julie Smith; father-in-law, Joseph Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

    Relatives and friends are invited to attend Neal's funeral service 11 a.m. Friday at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main St., Millville. There will be visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.

    The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association , 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.

    A true competitor and friend

    Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to Neal's family and his incredible crew. We have raced with Neal since 1999 and the Pro Outlaw days. He was always fun to be around and enjoyed life. Neal and his crew are exceptional people and we are glad we have been able to call them our friends.
