I want to get 10 or 15 lbs more. has anyone put shims behind the springs, or is there different spring pressures? I would assume the shim would need to be kind of thin? Any help in that direction would be appreciated. Thanks Don

On a wet sump pump, putting a regular washer behind the spring should give you 10 or 15 psi. The dry sump pumps usually have an adjusting screw for pressure.

On our dry sump pump, we bought the heaviest spring and still had to shim it.

It seems to me our shim is pretty thick too, around .150 or so, but if you only need another 15psi .050 might do the trick.

Be careful how much you shim. If you shim too much, you will actually prevent the valve from relieving because it won't move far enough to open the relief port.

Mike Kopcheck from Rage fuel systems called me Saturday. He makes a piece so you can adj. the pressure. Got one coming. He makes them for KB pumps Mike came through again. Thanks Mike. Don
