Dave, we always loaded our blown altered front first and had all of the gear in the front. Never had a problem.

I have a 41' fifth wheel, 32' on the floor. My dragster sits on the tripple axles. My motor is directly over the lead axle. My tools, etc are in front of the car, golf cart is behind the car. 3100#s in the bed of my truck. Tows like a dream. 21600#s loaded on the freeway.

Every gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer I have ever seen the car wieght was such a small % of the total it did not really matter, just put it where its easiest to load unload and distribute wieght with the other stuff.

We have a 44 ft 5th whl front is a lounge with the car in back (nose in) atv in front. On the other stuff we were trying to distribute the weight evenly from side to side, havent really noticed a big difference either way

I have a 38' goose. 2 dragsters lots of stuff about 12k. With 2 cars one backs in and one in front first.

Towing with one car (in either position) does not change how it tows one bit.

I think Bottlefed is correct - a Gosse/5th wheel is so good by design, you can put stuff anywhere.
