I just picked up a set of used Pro Jacks for my altered but was wondering where to place them on the car. Front even with front axle/spindle? Rear 8-10" in front of rear end? Are all Pro Jacks made with the front saddles so they can swivel or are they welded solid? Who makes the drip free quick connects? Also are you guys using a proportioning valve on both so they lift and lower at the same rate?

I cut the saddles off and widened my front jacks so they slide on the bottom frame rail. I eliminated the leaks by replacing all the brass fittings with steel ones. The proportioning valve controls the rate of descent not the lift.

Are your saddles solid or can they swivel on the tube they are mounted too?
