Minimum Header Clearance- Funny Car

Hi,
What is the minimum clearance allowed.....and what is the minimum amount you like to have?

I have 2 1/4" from the floor, to the skid plates on the bottom of the zoomies.

Is that enough?

That is enough for the rules. It should be enough. Just watch it closely for a launch or two. It may get close to scraping depending on how your particular car launches.

GROUND CLEARANCE
Minimum 3 inches from front of car to 12 inches behind centerline
of front axle, 2 inches for remainder of car, except oil pan and
exhaust headers. See General Regulations 4:7.
