I have 3 System One oil filters that have worked great for a long time. I picked up a used one and am trying to make sure it is the correct micron. The used one is 100560P which appears to be good to 60wt, its 45 micron. What I have been using has worked well and I don't want to change that, but I don't know what part number or micron they are. Apparently they are too old to be part numbered:confused:
If I set the 100560 screen beside the others they look to be the same.

If they were different microns would I be able to see the difference?

    208-100530 - 30 micron
    208-100560 - 45 micron
    208-100570 - 75 micron

    30 micron = 0-50W
    45 micron = 0-60W
    75 micron = 0-70W

    right off there website.

I saw that same info, but my older ones don't have part numbers and they are the ones I'm trying to match.

If you laid a 30 micron right beside a 45 could you see the difference?

Yes you can see the difference. Its very slight so get a second opinion. The HD 70 micron is easy to see the difference. Heavier wire and bigger holes.
