tack output on Retard box

Does the retard box see power to both sides even though you are only using the chips for one Mag? Want to wire a shift light to one side the other is being used already. Box out being checked so I really can,t tell. Thanks Don

 

I understand that you can use the same tach output for multiple items , I have a tach , separate shift light and a shifter.

 

if you run 2 mags

 

So JP do you actually use these on the same output or are you going to /maybe/what if /i will try it / type of deal , let us know please do not guess

no, only the tach output on the side you are using will work. I had a shift light not work and I finally figured out I had it plugged into the wrong side of the box

 

The way its wired on my car , they took the spade terminal connected a a tach then on the same terminal put one of those shift lights that has digital rpm in the middle and a msd rpm gauge . All three on the same terminal.

I'm not saying its the right way, for all I know it works good but everyday one has to learn and maybe if someboy know better I have to fix this....

Also i will never state a project or idea as a done deal so to mislead someone.
