1st let me say a couple of things, in Racing there r no guarantees bottom line it is bout money and the fans i 'm not here to bash NHRA just give a little insight after making the IHRA race at the rock,

    1. it was not a NHRA national event nor were we treated that way either, everyone was very nice and appreciated we were there we got to park on the pavement with plenty of room for vehicles and campers no issues

    2. the tech guys made sure of the safety issues and that was it no fuel check no wgt issue just rung what ya brung

3, the fans were great more came by our pits than in my 9 years of racing in the alky/a-fuel class in nhra and we ran out of hero cards and the stands were packed

4.,we were giving plenty of time to make a turn around actually tore the
    engine down after the round

    5. the track was fine no issues the top fuel cars ran in the 4.70's

the race was great especially the old floppers real funny cars
and our cars wer cool throwing the big flames

sure i missed the old group in div 2 but change is always to move in the future with taking a chance on anything different

by the way thanks to mitch king for driving my car i busted my ankle unloading my car so i got to watch also automan for a different venue
with lots of promises he is a hoot:D

    GK

p.s. Cherissa done a great job saving her car in 1st round

    cherissa at the rock

Cherissa did indeed do a great job handling her car after a blown tire. Her and her father were a welcome addtion to the Pro Fuel show. Overall, the show was not bad. No oil, a lot of good side by side runs. Not a packed crowd(Sat.). Maybe match racing is back!

IHRA has always treated the "non professional" racers much better - unless you like getting shit or pissed on.

I am glad to hear the race was packed and had good car counts.

I hope this continues and IHRA is able to grow a competive environment for the fuel cars and maybe alcohol dragsters some day.

    Awesome.
